“Curbing climate change and improving resilience in rural communities by creating new lifecycles for mixed waste plastics and biomass” is a proposal co-authored by Jiwnath Ghimire, assistant professor of community and regional planning, and Kimberly Zarecor, professor of architecture at the College of Design at Iowa State University.

We congratulate Dr. Jiwnath Ghimire and Dr. Kimberly Zarecor on the grant award of $75,000 in funding through the Iowa State University Vice President for Research’s Research and Innovation Roundtable (RIR) Program.
